How did you find my channel?
If you're here, then you most likely found my YouTube channel and found the link to this blog somewhere. If so, then how the hell did you find my channel?
Regardless, I am just a person who loves to play old video games to remind people that old games were actually golden. I've just always been playing retro games (and newer ones) and feel as though I wanted to document these games in videos. My videos consist of my pretty much raw behavior and reactions to playing these old games (which comes with a lot of rage) to just sort of put out there. I have no intentions on going further with this channel or doing anything other than what I'm doing now. Just a small little side hobby I do in my free time. Maybe when I'm super old I'll stumble across the channel and relive these moments through my videos. A time capsule, perhaps.
The purpose of this blog is to provide another form of communication other than video. It's a way to write about things that normally aren't interesting/necessary as a video, or require more depth than a YT video description. I'm sure, for example, that once I'm done with New! SMW2 Yoshi's Island, I'll do a short review on my channel. I'll save the long, in depth review for this blog, so that way I can really dive into it in just raw words. Plus, this doesn't get shown to as many people as YouTube videos do, so that way anything I say here has a lower chance of catching the wrong eye. You sort of have to go out of your way to get here, so if you're here just because, thank you.
I actually do enjoy writing quite a bit, and I think it's a practice that people should do. There are proven benefits to it, and it doesn't have to be super professional amazing work. Reading my blog, you'll know that I'm not a talented writer at all. And no, I'm not that typical Christian mom from the mid-west who homeschools and quotes bible verses in every blog post and has like 15 kids. Writing's fun, so why not? Writing in this style especially (colloquially, on very casual topics) is pretty easy and can be fun to see what you come up with on the spot. That blog post about my favorite mug, for instance, was just a spur-of-the-moment idea I had in my head. I suggest you try it out.
Other than that, I hope you enjoy this blog and my channel.
That's all I have to say for now. Have fun.
great to find your blogger! love your youtube channel :)
